RECOMMENDATION
BUILDING CIRCUMSTANCE RESISTANT COMPANIES
Creating Alternative Economies
'Craconomies'
This recommendation is to enable strong economic continuity, viability and prosperity irrespective of prevailing conditions.
During recent years and even prior, there were some situations that prevented companies from operating completely with their personnel having to work from home in some instances.
Me who write this physically thought that this helped companies maintain productivity and keep running effectively since the personnel could work safely from their homes.
However, me who write this physically recently heard the Chief Executive Officer of a very large world company say that productivity was affected during such periods and was not very excited about the whole work from home situation.
Me who write this physically have written prior to this about developing freelance and other corporate solutions through an Internet platform. This would be most attractive to micro and small companies as well as individuals.
However, this solution could be for any type of legal company but is primarily for medium to large and worldwide companies.
The intent of this recommendation is to develop companies which some may exist while others may be created that focus on a single core competence. The next thing is that each aspect of the entire broad processes of company operability will be the core competence of each company. What this means is that if there is ever such a situation, companies have got used to leveraging legal companies who have experience in a particular core competence.
This works best if the companies do some work already with such companies which have core competencies prior to any situation that may require working more from home. This means they are already in a situation to leverage such expertise seamlessly.
This cannot be left up to free market forces alone because it has security implications if companies are not productive for a sustained period of time due to any situation that may cause that. Therefore, a legal government cannot just sit back and hope that enterprises will patronise companies which have areas of core competencies but would actually need to encourage legally protecting their companies and industries.
Therefore, it is recommended that the legal government legally find and or legally establish no less than one such conpany in each member nation of the European Council which is dedicated to a single area of core competency, such as marketing, accounting, advertising, human resource management, resource management, report and other documentation, meetings and conferences hosting, technology, engineering, customer care and much more.
Companies which really want to be in a position to weather any storm will develop these capabilities even if there are no challenging circumstances. This means that companies will develop the capacity to achieve their core objectives and leverage their core competencies while contracting expertise from other companies to ensure that all operational processes can be legally achieved.
Where this recommendation is fundamentally different is the fact that the focus is on building the companies that will achieve this if they are not in existence or improving the scalabilities of the companies that already exist leveraging technology so that the companies don't need to be concerned about excess capacity but can scale as more people need such core competency services.
Nations need to understand that this is a tricky situation but this recommendation seeks to get through the trickiness and keep companies successful and economies vibrant.
What is the tricky situation? A complete company has to scale down for a certain amount of time because of a prevailing situation.
This means uncertainty, lack of productivity and loss of revenues. How can the company survive if this lasts longer than it can cope with? Therefore, this recommendation ensures that the company can operate freely if the situation is as is and in the situation that prevailing conditions require work from home, the company can leverage services from other companies with core competencies to ensure that a scaled-down work force does not hamper productivity.
Certainly some companies may not have the sales required in such times, but others may and perhaps will even see an increase in sales.
For instance, people may not go to the cinemas but may need more toilet paper or raw food. Therefore, companies offering these services cannot afford to scale down. For companies offering services that are less in demand, such as tourism, there is a need to invest in considerable creativity or hire a company whose expertise is in developing working creative solutions. For instance, hotels could offer special packages for families to spend some days in a month or the weekends while observing legal regulations during such a period. A hotel could provide food catering for homes and flats who require quality feeding.
The point here is that if companies create these capacities, they won't be negatively affected irrespective of the prevailing circumstances.
Another thing the European Council needs to do is to develop an alternative economy which is legal for such a situation otherwise called a 'craconomy'. This would be the most creative and audacious thing one could ever imagine would protect Europe and be a marvel to develop. The ability to move from the existing economy to an alternative economy if required would be just Wunderbar.
Creating an alternative economy requires the European Council legally getting some of the best experts in Europe on enterprise development to develop an alternative means of purchasing and or exporting the products and services of each industry. For instance hotels are in the tourism and hospitality industries. Therefore how can hotels keep making money if people have to work from home? For instance is it possible for a hotel to turn an entire floor of its building into the company premises of a company where staff can work and live in the hotel while at the same time being really productive. In fact they may end up being more productive. But they observe all legal regulations. This is for companies that can afford it but certainly pricing could be flexible to enable as many as feasible. So it is feasible for a hotel to be fully booked throughout such a period and not empty. This is an example of creating an alternative economy.
A manufacturing company may need personnel to keep functioning but regulations make this impossible. If the manufacturing company has some land space it could hire nice mobile homes vehicles and keep them well spaced in its compound allowing personnel to move in with their families and single personnel have smaller cabins. In this manner the personnel can work and still be at home while ensuring company productivity. It may be feasible that the personnel could drive the mobile homes to their real homes on the weekends and be back by Monday morning or Sunday night. Working in the premises may even encourage slightly longer working hours. Spacing on the factory floor could be adjusted to ensure regulations are observed meaning perhaps multiple shifts each day.
Therefore there is this whole massive alternative economy which has to be intentionally and legally created and functional to ensure that when the location needs to move more into the alternative economy in can do that seamlessly and when it needs to move more into the standard economy it can do that. The most important thing is to keep productivity up and people being able to earn and spend in any prevailing condition so that the economy can keep functioning seamlessly and people can live as pleasantly as in other times.
In addition to this the European Council is recommended to legally develop guidelines for when it may be necessary to operate what me who write this physically refer to as 'legal disobedience'. This means in what type of situations does obeying regulations cause more disadvantage than advantage? Therefore with detailed and comprehensive study and legal assessment it will be feasible to act entirely legally according to established legal guidelines but refuse to obey a regulation and be legally supported by a higher regulation or legal law which makes it perfectly legal.
For instance after World War II, it was established that 'Obedience to orders is not a defense to a war crime'. This is a perfect situation of legal disobedience. If a person disobeys an order to commit a war crime the person may disobey a direct command by a legal authority and therefore go against the prevailing regulation, however because war crimes lead to deaths of people and are very serious crimes the person is legally protected by a higher legality which permits the person to refuse to obey an order to commit a war crime because the resultant effect is illegal if that command is obeyed. Therefore a legal government may refuse obeying a regulation which certainly results in deaths of peope small or large. However this needs expert legal assessment and professional insight as it may be quite delicate and needs tremendous caution but could save the lives of entire locations and economies of nations.
This recommendation is for the Continent of Europe and the implementation is to be effected by the European Council with headquarters in Brussels in Belgium on the Continent of Europe.
The European Council may legally offer capacity building and other legal services for other locations outside the Continent of Europe which want to learn how to create alternative economies.
Me who write this physically may make this recommendation to another nation or nations at some point.
The names of the recommendation are not compulsory but just for explanatory purposes.
