RECOMMENDATION IRAN LEGAL ADJUDICATION Thursday 15th January 2026
RECOMMENDATION
IRAN
LEGAL ADJUDICATION
Thursday 15th January 2026
It
is recommended that the Islamic Republic of Iran ensure that its legal
judicial proceedings are completely transparent to the extent of the
Laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is very important that the
legal process is just and seen to be just. This will further protect the
Islamic Republic of Iran from those who want to use the judicial
process as a basis for further violence.
If it pleases the Islamic Republic of Iran, details,
summaries, referenced reports with charts and infographs of the entire
legal adjudication of these recent protests should be made universally
available. It is recommended that no room is given to assumptions or
those who may want to attempt to fabricate information in order to
intentionally disadvantage the Islamic Republic of Iran.
To this
extent, the Islamic Republic of Iran should strongly consider legally
accrediting Iranian and international press organisations with clear
guidelines for what is expected from them without infringing on their
own ethics and broadcasting codes. The Islamic Republic of Iran may also
consider having a daily press briefing during these trials to ensure
that the situation direct from the legal Iranian judiciary is known at
all times.
The Islamic Republic of Iran should also strongly
consider commissioning a legal research and determination team or
Committee that vets the coverage of the Iranian protests universally by
press organisations, governments and non-state actors. Wherever there is
a discrepancy between the truth backed by legal and relevant facts, it
is recommended that the Islamic Republic of Iran make this known and
show where the falsehood, if any, exists. This may require a unique
Internet address to enhance its visibility. It also ensures that those
who seek to sow discord leveraging intentional falsehoods and dishonesty
will be made known in a timely manner.
The Islamic Republic of
Iran should strongly consider informing the United Nations Security
Council and the United Nations General Assembly of the situation in Iran
with verifiable facts.
