OBSERVATION
After the long civil war in Syria the nation is starting to recover from all of that.
However, one observation is the effect of the recent airstrikes in Syria, especially as regards the different groups.
It
is my opinion that while the airstrikes may be helping the National
Syrian government to consolidate power and control of Syria, there is no
less than one aspect that may be precarious in my opinion.
If
the Syrian National legal government tries to consolidate and there is
resistance, this could lead to fresh violence which should be avoided as
much as feasible.
In theory, the consolidation nationwide looks
good because it is helping to bring the entire nation under the National
government headquartered in Damascus. However, this would require, in
my opinion, some level of force against groups which do not accept the
government's terms partially and or completely. Since the government is
supported by the US airstrikes, it may move with that confidence and try
to enforce its rule on the entire nation using military means. However,
this may appear simple but may create opportunities for renewed
fighting which could affect other nations in the region. This is
especially because some main ethnic groups can be found outside Syria.
In
effect, the point here is that in trying to consolidate a national
government across Syria, if force is used it may create a serious
conflict.
This is important to the United States of America with
capital in Washington D.C., North America because if that occurs and
there are considerable casualties, that is most especially deaths or
even a crime against humanity, this could be seen as being triggered by
the considerable United States airstrikes in Syria in recent weeks.
One of the differences between the current situation in my opinion and during the civil war is that the United States is helping the cental government consolidate from the centre towards other parts of the nation. During the civil war groups were supported to push inwards towards the central government against the government at the time. This has different implications for the potential of the conflict to affect neighbouring nations.
This situation or scenario in my opinion would not be advantageous for the United States of America with capital in Washington D.C., North America and or the legal government of the Syrian Arab Republic.

US air strikes in northern Nigeria: possible windfalls, as well as dangers
'On 25 December 2025, the United States conducted strikes against Islamic State militants in northwest Nigeria in coordination with the Nigerian government.'
'Nigerian information minister Mohammed Idris Malagi said that the operation took place on 26 December between 00:12 and 01:30 WAT, and targeted two prominent IS sites in the Bauni forest in Tangaza. Additionally, he said that 16 munitions were fired by MQ-9 Reaper drones at fighters attempting to infiltrate Nigeria from the Sahel. Malagi added that debris from munitions mistakenly hit Jabo and Offa, but caused no civilian casualties. According to Isa Salihu Bashir, the chairman of Tangaza, strikes hit Lakurawa camps, killing many fighters and forcing others to flee. At least four missile warheads failed to explode and fell short of their targets, landing in Offa, Zugurma, and Jabo. In Jabo, Tambuwal, farmland was destroyed. In Offa, former state official Tajudeen Alabi told the BBC that "about five structures" were destroyed, with some injuries but no deaths.
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that the strikes were related to stopping the killings of Christians in Nigeria. Conversely, the Nigerian government stated that the strikes were not intended to protect any specific religions.'

OBSERVATION
The recent airstrikes in Nigeria by the United States
of America with the capital in Washington D.C., North America, in my
opinion, were a considerable risk that, in my opinion, may not really
make much impact on ending terrorism in Nigeria. However, the risks, in
my opinion, are significant.
a. The United States could be seen
as partisan and insensitive to the Muslims in the nation as regards the
security situation. Making a distinction between Muslims living in
northern Nigeria and terrorists operating from Northern Nigeria is very
important. It is my opinion that continued strikes may have, at some
point, had an adverse effect which may have been able to precipitate a
more serious security situation.
b. For the level of accuracy and
precision of the United States Military, it was surprising that some locations were struck off target. It is important to legally
and accurately determine why those occurred.
c. It is important
to legally and accurately determine if the focus on only Christians as
victims of terror was not some sort of entrapment. The reason for saying
this is that, as stated earlier in the first point in this segment,
terrorism affects both Muslims and Christians in Nigeria. However, when
preparing this writeup, me who write this made a very interesting
observation. The statements accredited to the current President of the
United States of America with capital in Washington D.C., North America on Christians being victims of terrorism in Nigeria were very easy to find when searching. However, after searching for some
time me who write this physically could hardly find reports where the
current President of the United States mentioned that Muslims are also
clearly victims of terrorism in Nigeria. What this means to me is that
some very powerful forces within and outside this nation are trying hard
to make the United States of America, with capital in Washington D.C.,
North America, appear insensitive to the plight of Muslims who are
victims of terror but sympathetic to Christians who are victims of
terror. This was the observation at the time of legal online searching
earlier on the morning of Thursday 22nd January 2026. In my opinion, if this is confirmed, it may mean
that there are some efforts to prevent the United States from being
perceived humanely in some parts of this nation.
d. The United
States of America, with capital in Washington D.C., North America, is
building a very large Consulate in Lagos State. Some reports have it as
being the largest in the world and some the largest in Africa. This is
certainly most likely viewed by many as a good development. From a legal
perspective, it may be feasible to interpret such a large Consulate in
Southern Nigeria, which has a lower percentage of Muslims than
Christians, as proof of the United States support for Christians more
than Muslims. In addition, it may be feasible to show that the large
Consulate may actually also serve to increase the influence of the
United States of America with capital in Washington D.C., North America
in the events of Southern Nigeria. This may not be the actual intention,
but it may be possible with some of the other observations to lend some
credence to this or, at the minimum, create reasonable doubt that such a
project is not intended to be more favourable to Southerners and
Christians.
The more precarious point for me who write this physically, is that it looks a bit too convenient and somewhat premeditated.
In
some locations, very large diplomatic missions are seen with
consternation by some who are of the opinion that it has some more
meaning to it. Recent reports confirm this. It is important to say that
this is not in any way saying that there is anything wrong, but it is to
say that it appears somewhat questionable.
'Consulate Vs. Embassy'
https://www.boundless.com/blog/consulate-vs-embassy-whats-the-difference
'Embassy: What's the Difference?
An
embassy is the primary diplomatic mission in a foreign country's
capital, while a consulate is a smaller mission in a major city.
Consulate Vs. Embassy:
Key Differences
Functions and Roles
Embassy:
An embassy is the main diplomatic mission of one country in another
country's capital city. It represents the sending country's government
and serves as the highest level of diplomatic representation. Embassies
are responsible for maintaining political, economic, and cultural
relations between the two nations. They handle diplomatic matters, issue
visas and passports, and provide consular services to their citizens
living or travelling in the host country.
Consulate: A consulate
is a smaller diplomatic mission, usually located in a major city other
than the capital, where the embassy is situated. Consulates focus
primarily on providing services to their country's citizens in the host
country, such as issuing passports, providing assistance during
emergencies, and helping with legal and administrative matters. They may
also promote trade and economic relations between the two countries and
facilitate business exchanges.
Location
Embassy: An
embassy is located in the capital city of the host country, typically in
close proximity to the government institutions and other diplomatic
missions.
Consulate: Consulates are established in major cities
other than the capital, strategically chosen to offer better support and
services to citizens and businesses in those regions.
Size and staff
Embassy:
Due to its broader range of responsibilities, an embassy is generally
larger and staffed with more diplomats and support personnel than a
consulate.
Consulate: Consulates are smaller in size and have fewer staff members, focusing primarily on providing consular assistance.
Hierarchy
Embassy:
The head of an embassy is usually an ambassador, who represents the
head of state or government of the sending country. Ambassadors have a
higher diplomatic rank than consuls.
Consulate: The head of a
consulate is typically a consul or a consul general, who has a lower
diplomatic rank compared to an ambassador.
The Bottom Line
While
both consulates and embassies are diplomatic missions representing one
country in another, embassies serve as the main diplomatic
representation in the capital city, dealing with a broader range of
diplomatic matters, while consulates focus on providing consular
services and promoting trade and economic relations in other major
cities of the host country.'
3. Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
Capture of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

'Venezuela's Maduro to mobilise millions in militia over US threats'
'19 Aug 2025 – This week, I will activate a special plan with more than 4.5 million militiamen to ensure coverage of the entire national territory'
OBSERVATION
It is clear that the military operation of the United States of America, with capital in Washington D.C., North America to capture President Nicolás Maduro was very successful, though with a considerable death toll and in my opinion was not legal.
It is my opinion that while this operation went successfully, it could have gone wrong. In my opinion, the consequences and risks of that mission going wrong were not just a thwarted mission but, more importantly, it could have sparked real violence on the ground. This is because President Maduro of Venezuela had been mobilising huge numbers of people in the event of such an attack. It is my opinion that such a strategy could have been most problematic for the United States if it resulted in mass killings and a crime against humanity. With that level of militia mobilised, the likelihood of a crime against humanity is very high. If that had occurred, in my opinion, it would be very arduous for the United States of America, with its capital in Washington D.C., North America, to say that its military operation was not directly responsible for that.
The important point here is to try to make it clear that the risks of such a mission are not just related to not achieving US military and perhaps political, economic and or diplomatic goals, but rather being seen as responsible for killings on a scale that may be unexplainable. This, in my opinion, is the real danger of such an action.
Why is all this important for the United States of America with capital in Washington D.C., North America?
Looking at all these, the following patterns begin to emerge in my opinion.
First,
it is clear in my opinion that somehow the United States of America,
with capital in Washington D.C., North America, is getting involved
militarily in situations which have the potential to spiral in such a
manner that could implicate the United States of America with capital in
Washington, D.C., North America especially as relates to violence and
loss of lives.
This, in my opinion, is precarious for the United
States of America, not only from a legal perspective, but from the
openings that may give known and unknown actors to act against the
United States of America with capital in Washington D.C., North America
in one way or the other. Such actions, in my opinion, create 'legality
gaps' and these could be precarious if exploited by nations and or
interests which understand this effectively. As such, in my opinion, the
United States of America, with capital in Washington D.C., North
America needs to exercise caution to prevent getting itself involved in
any situation that may be characterised as a crime against humanity.
Second,
it is clear that this is also a sort of coercion to try to intimidate
the United States of America with capital in Washington D.C., North
America, not to get involved in different conflicts or political
situations around the universe. If the United States accepts this, it
would perhaps lose some relevance, which may be the intention of some.
However, if the United States continues military interventions, it may
also have the challenge of being seen as responsible for violence and
deaths that result not just from military intervention but the violence
that occurs from the violence that was effected through the military
intervention. This, in my opinion, is a very clever orchestration to
weaken the United States irrespective of which approach it chooses.
The way out?
In
my opinion, in these sorts of tricky and well-crafted situations, the
United States can prevail if it is able to achieve the following:
RECOMMENDATION
1. Refuse illegal military interventions.
2.
Ensure that any legal military intervention is completely transparent
with photographs, videos, charts, legal witness testimonies, for
instance.
3. Avoid casualties as much as feasible and, where casualties occur, legally and or properly compensate the victims.
4.
Avoid military interventions which shift the balance of power in a
geographical location in such a manner that will create the grounds for
increased conflict, especially the kind that can lead to large
casualties.
5. Genuinely seek political, diplomatic and economic
solutions to their extent prior to any consideration for military
intervention. For instance, in my opinion, the challenge between Iraq
and Kuwait prior to the Gulf War was economic and, in my opinion, that
could have been solved economically if it had been explored to a greater
extent.
The recent protests in the Islamic Republic of Iran and
the deaths and casualties have been blamed primarily on the United
States of America, with its capital in Washington D.C., North America by
some inside Iran. However, this is not too arduous for the United
States to extricate itself from to a large extent. However, in my
opinion, if there had been a US military intervention that precipitated
the protests perhaps almost immediately, then that would have been much
more challenging to escape from that. However, reports of some armed
protestors are alarming and in my opinion, the United States should seek
to legally and humanely find out the veracity of that.
In
conclusion, the United States of America with capital in Washington
D.C., North America needs to recognise that illegal military
interventions which may trigger loss of lives, especially on a large
scale, have serious implications, even though they may not appear that
way overtly because of the fear of the overwhelming capacity of the
United States, but these do have serious effects and in the overall
assessment and in my opinion are weakening the United States of America
with capital in Washington D.C., North America in a systemic manner but that shall not prevail.
These are just opinions and recommendations.
